When the cast iron heavy-duty ST-20 hanging tilt switch and the mercury switch with vertical suspension tilt switch are subjected to external force and deviate from the vertical position by more than 15 degrees, the mercury contacts inside the switch will act and the normally closed contacts will open. After the external force is removed, the tilt switch returns to the vertical state, and the mercury contacts close again. Use the changes in the opening and closing of the internal contacts of the tilt switch to determine the working condition of the protective equipment, and take timely measures to achieve the purpose of safety protection.
