Main purpose and scope of application: The bidirectional rope switch is a safety protection device used for emergency shutdown along the belt conveyor. Pull rope switches are suitable for belt conveyors used in industries such as coal, metallurgy, power, chemical, transportation, cement, and docks. The drawstring switch is particularly suitable for use in coastal and harsh environments. Installation and wiring: The bidirectional rope switch should be installed on one side of the pedestrian passage of the belt conveyor. The switch should be fixed to the channel steel of the middle frame of the belt conveyor through bolts, or installed on the on-site self provided angle steel, which is welded to the middle frame. The distance between the pull rope switches should not exceed 35m. The distance between the switch and the head drum or tail drum should be 10-20m. The pull rope switches are connected with plastic coated steel wire ropes. The tension of the steel wire rope should be appropriate, and a rope support ring should be installed every 3-4 meters. The rope support ring should be welded to the middle frame of the belt conveyor. For belt conveyors with sidewalks on both sides, bidirectional rope switches should be installed on each side of the belt conveyor.
