The AL-21R-EX cylinder magnetic switch is a contactless magnetic switch explosion-proof type for cylinders. The magnetic switch cylinder is used to detect the position of the cylinder stroke, without the need for machine controlled valves (or stroke switches) and their mounting brackets at both ends of the stroke. There is no need to set a collision block at the end of the piston rod, so it is convenient to use and has a compact structure. Due to its reliability, long lifespan, cost, and switch response time, it is widely used. Working principle: The cylinder magnetic switch is installed on the outer side of the cylinder barrel. A cylinder can accommodate various types of cylinders, but the cylinder barrel is made of materials with weak magnetic conductivity and strong magnetic isolation, such as hard aluminum, stainless steel, brass, etc. Install a magnetic ring of a rubber magnet on a non-magnetic piston. When the moving magnetic ring of the piston approaches the switch, the two flanges of the tongue spring switch are magnetized and attracted to each other, and the contacts close; When the magnetic ring moves away from the switch, the circuit loses excitation and the contacts open. When the output point is closed or disconnected, an electrical signal is issued (or the electrical signal disappears) to control the corresponding solenoid valve to complete the switching action. For situations where a magnetic switch needs to be installed in the middle of the stroke (such as stopping the piston at a certain position in the middle of the stroke), the installation position of the switch can be determined as follows. Fix the piston at the position where it should stop, and move the magnetic switch left and right above the piston to find the position where the switch starts to engage. The middle position of the left and right engagement positions is the sensitivity position of the switch. The magnetic switch should be fixed at this sensitivity position. When installing the switch at the end of the stroke, the distance A and B from the side end cover and rodless side end cover have been marked on the sample for different cylinders in the sensitivity position.
