The detection distance that a magnetic proximity switch can achieve with a small switch volume. It can detect magnetic objects (usually permanent magnets) and then generate trigger switch signal output. Due to the fact that magnetic fields can pass through many non-magnetic objects, this triggering process does not necessarily require the target object to be directly close to the sensing surface of the magnetic proximity switch. Instead, the magnetic field is transmitted to a long distance through a magnetic conductor (such as iron). For example, signals can be transmitted to the magnetic proximity switch through a warm place to generate a triggering action signal.
